Buckinham Palace

Buckinham Palace is the oficial residence of the British Ropyal family in London from 1837. Currently, it is the place of residence of Queen Isabel II.

Built in 1703 for the Duke of Buckinham, the building was acquired by the King George III in 1762 to be used as a privet residence.

It is used for official ceremonies, State visits and sightseeing.

Since 1997 the oficial flag of the British sovereing flies when the Royal family is staying in th Palace and is the flag of the United Kingdom that flies when they aren´t there in him. Waving at half-starff in cases of death of members of th e Royal family or national diasters such as the attacks in London.
